Well done, ladies!

Individual Titles

Sans Souci won the women's crown by a generous margin. Thanks so much for doing such a nice job on this Millbot. Congrats to SS and JJJ! We should do this again sometime.

Nice victory dance too. They've really got Happy Feet!

edited to add:
I lost some time at JibJab after seeing the SS/JJJ Happy Dance. Here's MrC and I cutting a rug of our own: http://www.jibjab.com/sendables/prev...0aeUdD4KBvkNkI

That was a delight Mr and Mrs Choovie!

Thanks all you co-participants and especially to LabDuck who drove me like a maniac.
I've needed to start some non-running strength training for quiet awhile and this was just the impetus I needed.
DW said she had never seen the competitive side of me.
It would be hard to exaggerate the value these online forums have added to my getting fit and discovering the varied nature of The Gift.

Thanks a Million to all
And especially to Millbot for his generous contribution and effort.
And lastly for leading us..
congrats to everyone! What a close contest this was and it was so much fun. I would not have done the cross training I did were it not for this contest. Just like I would not have done the plank challenge and started working out my abs regularly were it not for Souci's challenge last month. I appreciate you both for finding fun ways to incorporate non-running activity into our schedules.

Millbot,
thank you for this great idea and your efforts to make it possible. It was great fun to participate, even if only for the last week. Hope we'll do it again sometime...
Congratulations for the King and Queen, you are both an inspiration! Also, you should get some extra X-training minutes for that victory dance!
Those JibJab clips are a hoot! Thanks Choover! I'm not even going to see what it takes to do one of those... I think I'd get absolutely nothing done the rest of the day!!

I agree that this contest prodded me to do cross training on non-running days when I'd have just sat around. So for that, thanks! I admit to not posting some of my workouts though, so really about an hour or so short in the final tally. Just not enough time in the day somedays (see above note about JibJab....).

Congrats to SS and JJJ!!

Okay, uh, I think I injured something doing that.

JJJ's dancing (and choovie's and MrC's) puts my brand of Charleston-ing to shame! It was nice cutting the rug with you, JJJ.

The challenge was a gas. I think I'm very fortunate (!?) that (a) I had lotsa time to x-t due to injury and (b) jura came to the party late. I hope it all helps to make me a stronger, injury-free runner in the future.

A crown to place beside the tiara I received from Tetsujin at the Pink Door. What a lucky schmoe I am, running and x-training with all of you.

Thank you, millbot. Your tabulating skills are remarkable and the fun factor was hugh. Here's to you.
