I have the unenviable task of following Sans Souci and Hemerocallus as this week’s coordinator of the weekly running and x-training thread. I can’t match their personalities, so I won’t even try!

The great Olympic 400-meter hurdle champion Edwin Moses once remarked that he had a pre-race ritual of cutting his toenails before every big race. So this weeks question consists of two options, either of which can be answered. Or both if you choose for extra credit. (A) What pre-race rituals do you customarily perform? Or (B) How often do you trim your toenails (assuming you still have them)?
