A bit of a low month mileage wise due to tapers and reverse tapers. But a good month regardless with 2 Marathons completed. I've never done that before (and may not again - grin).

Hi Gobi

Thanks for starting this thread. More shameless bragging from me, I'm afraid.

100.7 miles total. 100 miles a month plus for the 7th successive month, a new record.

Oct 10th - Staten Island Half Marathon - 1:39:55 - 2:39 PR

Oct 31st - Poland Spring Marathon Kick-Off - 37:05 - 46 second PR, AG% PR (over a mile) of 66.9%.

Otherwise it was a slow month with 5 days off, recovering from the half and limited running during 10 days in Costa Rica.

Lab, that sounds like a great opening line for a novel.

126.8 miles for October. Lost two or three days to this toe injury (not running related), so I was on pace for about 140. Would at least have been 3 straight months over 130 - probably a new streak for me. Oh well.

950 miles YTD and holding.

New 5k PR: 20:35 on October 16th.
