OK, even though it's not the end of the month yet. I noticed last month we didn't even have a monthly milage thread. That won't be happening again, even if only a small percentage of the few people left here report. Besides this is the only time I ever hear from SloJim.

So, post 'em if you've got 'em and I, assuming I live through general anaesthesia on the 5th, will total 'em up in a week or so.

Important note: Should anyone else want to do this, just say so. If not, I will do it, but don't expect MS quality purty graphs & witty commentary.

Well, having just completed a run today, Thursday 31st, I can safely say that I won't get any more runs in this month. To confuse you all, I run in kilometres these days, finally decided to switch after 10 years living in Kilometre land (8 in ireland, and 2 in Argentina), and my March totals came to a low 35 Km, which is just under 22 miles.

Now considering that February had a total of 0 kilometres, which equates to ZERO miles too, it's not bad. January (the first few days) only saw 15 km, less than 10 miles, before the gout hit, so after nearly two months off running, I am happy with the start.

Thanks for doing this, Johnny. Though it was just as well that February was skipped.... this month sees me back at a more reasonable total.

Good luck with the anesthesia! And find out ahead of time how they intend to charge you. Those people are never in plan.

Thanks, Johnny! Even without all the purdy graphs and ketosis or whatever else she'd write up, it's nice to see what everyone has been up to!

I got really sick the last week of March and hardly ran at all, so that kind of messed up what was going to be a really good mileage month. As it is...

204.3 miles run for March

620.4 miles YTD

I did a lot of cross training in March, something I picked up awhile ago and found it really helped marathon performance, at least it did for last year's Boston marathon...

43.5 miles elliptical, almost 10 miles walking and weights/core 3x week.
