So how is everyone doing this week? I think for me, taking out alcohol has been a HUGE help and I am just not sure how much I miss it. DH and I, since our first Valentines Day together 14 years ago, have stayed at home with him making me some amazing food. So, I will probably have a glass or two tomorrow night but part of me doesn't want it at all. It's been almost 2 weeks!!!!

I have been so excited about all the new foods I have been cooking. Who knew healthy foods were so colorful and fun to cook with. Dh sat me down the other day and told me how proud he was of me. Proud that I set out to really change myself and how much I have accomplished. And how much he loves all the new foods I have been cooking. Made fish tacos the other day and DH said he never liked them. He gobbled mine up and said he can't wait for me to make them again!!!

I am down to 157.7. I don't remember the last time I was under 158. Most likely since before the birth of my 5 year old. Big problem though, with almost 10lbs down, my clothes are starting to be too big!!

Now that's a good problem to have! Congrats on your weight loss, sounds like you really changed things around and it's paying off big (or should I say, small!)

Haven't weighed in yet, I probably will tomorrow. But, I can tell I'm less, how to say, jiggly? I just feel a little tighter. The scale hasn't been dropping as quickly as I'd like, but I have to be patient. I keep telling myself it took a year and a half to put on all this weight, it'll take more than a month to get it off! And, as long as my legs feel a little harder, or my sides a little leaner, I'm doing good!

well last thursday after my nutionist told me i can not metabolize wheat and dairy so i should avoid it. I figured she was crazy becasue i love Pizza. So last thursday i had 1 donut, 1 pastry,1 chocolate chip cookie 3 brownies a sub sandwich and 5 slices of pizza. I went from 256 that morning to 264. I guess she was right, So lesson learned is that i should do what she tells me. 1 week later i am back to 256.2

Congrats Kristine!

I'm having a tough week. Have been trying to give up Starbucks and am doing better, but it's far from eliminated. This week at work has led me to the barista's bar with great frequency...stress will do that

I'm staying the same - 129. Seems like every lb is hard fought, but I can't say I've really been dieting or denying myself. I plugged in a couple of days of Fitday just to see how I was doing (haven't done that in a while). While my activity level has increased, looks like my calorie intake has too. I have to watch that, get a little more space between the two numbers!

Alicia, I'm not an avid Starbucks coffee drinker, only because it's so expensive, because I love their coffee. I went to the pre-opening party of a new store in town, because my friend is the DM. I had a really yummy decaf skinny latte dolce cinnamon (or something like that, I just asked for decaf and skinny, and then surprise me). It was yummy, and I think only around 100 cal. Not bad for a dessert. Of course I had to get into the cookies and cakes they were offering as well.

Good job to the losers! No change for me this week.

The blubber from the holidays is gone, that was the easy part. Now to really start losing I need to make changes which I have not done thus far. I hate dieting, cutting back, whatever.

WOW! Dude, that must have been some massive fluid retention - caused by that stuff perhaps? WOW!

For me, 235.0 today. On the right track.

I am the "Biggest Maintainer" it seems. I'll be down a couple of pounds during the week and then come Monday weigh-in I am right back at 221. This morning I was 218.6. Maybe I need to switch my weigh-in to Fridays .

Regardless of weight, I have been very consistent with exercise and that's already paying huge dividends in relief of pain in my back and legs. Getting down to 195 will help that too.

30lbs ain't no thang.
