I know handful of this or that. I don't eat Trail Mix, but my husband (of 12 years!) just told me he loves the stuff, um ok. So, i'd like to make some for him. I know he likes dried cherries and chocolate and mixed nuts.
How would you make trail mix?
TIA!

I put chocolate covered espresso beans in mine. And I mix it up with whatever I have on hand. My current batch has craisins, choco espresso beans, pumpkin seeds, peanuts, almonds, chopped dried fruit (pineapple and apricots, I think), honey roasted sunflower seeds and butter crunch cashews. I think that's everything. You really can't make it "wrong", it's all about what you...or he....likes.

Oooh! I love the chocolate covered espresso beans. I think I could make some that I would like. I've just never really eaten much before-but if I can add what I like that would be great. I didn't know they had honey roasted sunflower seeds, those sound really good too.

I got them at the farmer's market near my house. They have all kinds of cool things. I live near Amish country so I can get a lot of different but tasty foods. And literally, with this stuff, it's whatever I have to use up plus whatever I might stumble across when I'm out hunting. I'm a total foodie, so I am always on the lookout for cool stuff to try.

That's what I like about homemade. I wouldn't eat/like what they sell in the stores. But here I can make his, hers and kids batches just as easily as you can make a single batch
That reminds me, I need a new granola recipe
