Im not sure their names on here, just their real names. I figured they would eventually see the posts here hehe

Yes, Snicker will be my first half marathon race. Ive done one 8 mile so far and slowly working up to the HM length but having fun being a turtle.
My first race was the Reindeer Run 5K in Macon and my next race will be 5K Aviation run here in Warner Robins. (My backyard). There is a Frog something I may try for the 8K part then Albany HM. Im enjoying it all so far and want to keep it slow n steady and fun.

Hey there.. this is Elizabeth. Glad to see that you made your way to our crowd of misfits

In all seriousness, this is a great bunch of folks. Everyone is laid back, and there is such an abundance of information and guidance here. (not to mention the general butt-kicking we need when we all start to fall off the wagon!)

Welcome aboard!

P.S. Radioyada = Charles.

Absolutely. We were looking for them the very next day. You are quite a talented photographer! (I scrolled through some of your other shots... and paricularly liked one regarding a horse, looking like he was saying something!)

We're doing the jingle Jog tomorrow http://www.jinglejog.com if you happen to be there, as well. Otherwise, we don't have any events on tap until January, I don't think.

Feel free to PM either of us if you'd like!

Good to see you on here. I don't post all that often, but you will usually find me trolling every day. Everyone here is the best.

As Ailarie has said, our next race is tomorrow morning, and we are looking forward to it. Its a fun 5k run, and its for a good cause.

It was great meeting you and your husband last week. The photos you took of the race are awesome. I need to take lessons from you

I hope we get to meet up at another race soon.

Glad you all liked the pictures, I sure love taking them. I will be running around the AF base here tomorrow. A group of us are doing variations of the Aviation run (Robins AF base). Its 3 miles from my house so that is great hehe. That is my next race Ive booked. We will be out there tomorrow and Im gonna do 8 miles at least, maybe more- we will see. Are you all coming this way to do the Aviation run 19 Jan? I signed up for the 5k and I signed up two days ago, for the half marathon in Albany (Snicker).

Holler anytime!
Nay on the Aviation run on Jan. 19th. On that day I/we will be running the ATC Peachtree City 5k/10k run. I ran the 10k last year, and still think it is the nicest run I have done so far. Plus, being an ATC member lets me run for free, but if you are not a member the run only costs $5.

I will start looking for some runs down in that area. Most of the ones we participate in are fairly close to us.
