Kay is down in St. George right now visiting her daughter Kim, who is fortunately a nurse. She fell while inside the house, hit her head and her heart stopped and her eyes were unresponsive. Kim started giving her CPR and Dan went out to get thier neighbors who are doctors. THe EMT got there quickly and was able to bring her back around. Took her to the hospital where she is getting checked out. She may have had a siezure but they also suspect a stroke. She is groggy and talking a little. Not sure if they are going to keep her over night, depends on the results of her tests and MRI. It breaks my heart that all this is going on with her, doesn't seem fair. I am kind of a wuss with these things and am experiencing alot of grief. It is hard to be way up here and not being able to there quickly so that I can help but will be setting by the phone all night. Our forum prayers seem to help sure could use one. Thanks, Larry

my first thought Larry was that thank goodness she was with someone that could respond to her medically right away. It really is a blessing that her daughter is a nurse and they had doctors nearby. I will include her in my prayers that she recovers well from this. keep us updated please.

THanks SS, Tamster, evenflien and corrade. They did all kinds of test and have not found any cause for this and she insisted on going back to Kims house, I wish that she would have stayed in until they came up with some reasons. Probably be up most of the night listening for phone calls. She just went to bed and sounded ok over the phone, but very tired.

Oh, Larry, you have had your plate full of things to worry and think about for a long time, and now this! I understand how hard it must be to be so far away and not able to go to her side. However, she is surrounded by loved ones and it sounds like she's well taken care of. Try to rest as much as you can and make sure that amongst all the excitement you take good care of yourself too.
Larry, the first thing is, Kay survived the incident, is in good hands and the matter was dealt with effectively. You certainly are no wuss when it comes to anything, in the last year you have been a very strong supportive partner and in need of a well deserved break. Prayers for you and Kay.
Take care
