we're not talking about putting in a new driveway or roofing the house here folks...I'm talking about little chores that you just don't like for one reason or another and might just pay someone to do for you...

today I took down the shower curtain liner and tried to clean off the mildewy soap scum...what a pain in the ass!...I hate unhooking all those damn little rings with your arms all stretched up above you and the sweat dripping down your nose....then I put it in the washing machine and that didn't really do the trick and only left a trail of water across the floor as I tried to take it back to the bathroom....then I took it out to the porch, hung it over the rail and tried to clean it with 409 spray...well, the wind flapped it around and got the spray in my eyes...finally cleaned it pretty good and then I had to go hook it back up again with all those damn little hooks and my arms all stretched above me with sweat dripping down my nose....you know, with all that hassle and the cost of a half a bottle of 409, I probably should've just bought a new shower curtain liner....

I'd like to pay someone to fill out expense reports for me.

I guess that would be counterproductive, though.

Yeah, OBH, you really should have just bought a new liner.

And that's exactly what I do with my shower curtains. I find them cheap enough at the Dollar Store and Wal*Mart to change them out rather than clean them. I haven't had a liner in a long time.

Ironing. Hate it.

I did it professionally (heh) for three weeks. I worked at a laundromat while waiting for a new job to start just out of college.

I love ironing! Send me your clothes!

Going to the bathroom... I know it's not like a real chore but I've always hated going (I drink a lot of water). I'm such a child about holding in until the last minute and then drive by-ing. If I could just have a catheter and a nurse (like those glorious days in the hospital when I was high on morphine *wink*), I'd be a much happier person.

I'm so low maintenance

Dusting - although in our house, that isn't a small job.

Keeping my fingernails neat and trimmed. It just annoys me - I mean, I'd rather never have to even think about my fingernails or toenails.

We try to only buy dust colored furniture and gimcracks, and painted the outside of our house dirt color. We give up.

Fold and put away clean laundry. I HATE doing that and only rarely do. (But today I did! )

Usually it stays in the basket and I just dress myself from there.

Martin, your ironing was very cool... very smooth. But Quebec needs to invest in some more creative television shows
