I like it.

If you want, I can ask the Ironmate to look at this -- either touch it up and stick it in the approprate format for printing, or to brainstorm in moving the design forward.

If not, that's okay too, because I understand that we have to draw the line somewhere.

Heather, the Ironmate, says she's done. She laughs all the time at the little stories I bring to her. This one was no different. "You're all so anal," she says in a roundabout way. She's right. We can design something and pick at it and change it and last minute change again, but there comes a time when we have to draw the line. I'm good in not drawing the line just yet. But with a wedding still to come and invites and planning the honeymoon and so many other things, she has drawn the line. Mind you, I could probably get her to budge, but at this point I will not unless there is an overwelhming push to make change. Which I don't mind -- I really don't -- but I just don't think there will be much time.

After the wedding there will be plenty of time. So maybe we pop off some hats and visors and, once we have a chance to see and wear them, we go to the next level in both design and product and maybe touch up the logo for a real Team LIT uniform. And I bet we can get sponsors.

Yer cool, neil.

I certainly didn't mean to come in here like Yojimbo and say, "I'm cleaning this up. This is what you're doing."

I've only been here a couple weeks and, out of respect, I vetted my idea [offline] with Thor and others before posting it, reluctantly even then.

I like it...it's bad-ass.

Heather did a great job too...this one is more "meet me in the back alley" type of feeling.

Good job to everyone!

I wish I had some stickers to give you. That's what I give my kids for doing well

Thanks for the positive feedback, and thanks to Heather for giving me something to start with.

I took the liberty to comp this compact version up for temp tatt's or whatever

While I agree that Randmart has done a fine "back alley" rendition, I much prefer Heather's #2 version (from the most recent poll). Personally, I'm not much for grunge, and, since the "lost" is just part of a play on words, I don't think the design really needs to communicate "lost" at all.

But, since this back alley version has a lot of excited support, I'd just suggest we practically look at how the eroded letters will play on hats and visors, etc. It would depend on whether embroidery or some other method was used to create the logo. If embroidered, will there simply be no embroidery in the eroded areas? If so, we'll want to pick the hat color with this in mind. And will the eroded area for tattoos be clear film? Just some things to think about with eroded letters. To my silly, rigid, little mind, the eroded effect just comes off looking like a logo that's already started to come off the hat. Then again, I'm so style-challenged that I'd never buy a pair of jeans with pre-made holes worn in them.

I do love Randmart's notion of a smaller "LiT" logo for some usages. And I love the creative energy and time everyone has put into this.

LOL...this one looks like we're bad-ass AND have a corporate sponsor...we can pretend...can't we?
