While I agree that Randmart has done a fine "back alley" rendition, I much prefer Heather's #2 version (from the most recent poll). Personally, I'm not much for grunge, and, since the "lost" is just part of a play on words, I don't think the design really needs to communicate "lost" at all.

But, since this back alley version has a lot of excited support, I'd just suggest we practically look at how the eroded letters will play on hats and visors, etc. It would depend on whether embroidery or some other method was used to create the logo. If embroidered, will there simply be no embroidery in the eroded areas? If so, we'll want to pick the hat color with this in mind. And will the eroded area for tattoos be clear film? Just some things to think about with eroded letters. To my silly, rigid, little mind, the eroded effect just comes off looking like a logo that's already started to come off the hat. Then again, I'm so style-challenged that I'd never buy a pair of jeans with pre-made holes worn in them.

I do love Randmart's notion of a smaller "LiT" logo for some usages. And I love the creative energy and time everyone has put into this.
