<p>*sniff* My work babies are growing up.</p>

<p>I just came from a meeting hosted by a gal who used to work for me and for whom I had served as a bit of a mentor. She's now a PM and doing very very well.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>It was a short meeting and some people didn't make it on time. As we wrapped up and were leaving the room I saw one of the late attendees coming down the hallway. I turned to the PM and said "So you'll update the action items..." and without missing a fraction of a beat she said "to give all the work to X (the person coming down the hallway)".</p>

<p>I was so proud. They grow up so quick!</p>

<p>I know I have a quirky sense of humour, but it is fun to see others pick up on it.</p>
