Hello Morning! (THANK GOD!)

Let me just say, last night was the night from H-E-L-L! But, by far, I'm over it!

This I learned. Wrestling moves work well on strong eight pounders. Yes, I fought the eight pounder and I won. I don't care how many times you can pull your tube out, I can put it back in, so don't pull it out! You might be faster than me but I'm more determined. And that was the easy part of the night!

Thankfully, I'm cutting out of here a little early so I can meet up with my aunt to go to the breast cancer survivors breakfast. I know she's really looking forward to it.

Have a good Friday all!
DH came home last night and I slept through the night, so things are much better today. Plus I went into the theatre last night to work on costumes for the film shoot tomw and we're in good shape, I just need to pull some stuff together in tonight/tomw morning. And I found a pattern we can use for the flapper dresses. Phew.

I'm meeting with my other new report today. I'd only met her for the first time this week, when she stopped in my cube. My team is moving to cubes in front of my new office. I will post a pic of my view when I move in.

Funny story about yesterday though: the second woman on my team came to me yesterday and said, I need a signature on this change order. -What? I need a signature. -From who? Me? Yes. Oh, right. I looked at the paper and it said Auntie Moe, Manager. I signed it and told her I need a copy to put up in my cubicle. Like a store's first dollar bill...my first manager's signature. Heh.

I hope everyone feels better who hasn't been feeling well and that the weather is sunny whereever you are. It's 12F here...but sunny. That's ok in my book.

Have a good one friends.
Manager Moe

I have a set, but there's a newer cooler set out now. If you remember where it is, send me a link please!
Was up late again studying. My first exam is on Saturday. It's not the type of thing I can fail. Either you pass or you're done.

We're supposed to get some more snow tonight just in time for the evening rush. Should make things interesting.
I had a great time at the hockey game last night with a friend. Looking forward to seeing him at the next game next week. Heh. Otherwise, just a sleepy start to Friday. I'm so ready for the weekend. Don't feel quite as bad as yesterday, but I'm still taking the ol' advil 3x a day.

Good Luck on your test tomorrow LL!

Tiff I hope the breakfast goes well this morning.

Maureen How fun! I remember the first time a student asked me to sign a pass somewhere.

Ok, gotta get to work on time today. Goal of the day!

Hey all. Happy Friday. The kids are slowly getting better and getting back into their routine, so life is slowly returning to normal here. Finally. Or at least until someone else get sick.

Good luck Larry! All I can tell you is that every fire is like a triangle with 3 sides - heat, fuel, and air. Remove any one of those and the fire collapses. We used to have these horrible fire safety films in grade school that showed burn victims to discourage kids from playing with fire. Kids regularly excused themselves to go throw up. (Still that wasn't as bad as the Ghost Train PSA film that showed us kids that were hit by trains. Ahh, the 80s.)

Beer QOD - what's your good cheap beer? Here in PA were are cursed with an oddball liquor control system that (by and large) forces you to buy beer by the case (and liquor at different, state run stores - and you thought Utah was crazy!).

So if you have to get a whole case of it, and you don't want to break the bank - what do you drink and how much is it?

For me, I'll say something from Yuengling - they're local, but they're not really a craft brewer. More like an old school local brewer that hung on through the dark years. I like their porter the best and it's maybe $20/case.

Oh, and my ulterior motive here is I'm stopping for a case on the way home. So give me some new ideas.
congrats Auntie Moe you da boss

Tiff I will do my best to try to find you an Ole Miss tech shirt.

I feel a little better this morning after my long nights sleep. Last night at 8 pm my body told me to shut it down. So I did sleep from 8:30 til 6:30. As Nettie said, get this work day over and bring on the restful weekend.

I hope you all have a very fast work day today!!!!!

oh btw I have a co-worker who has a Feb 29th birthday. Pretty neat.

OH wishing a better day to the sick ones here. May your recovery begin today and I hope you all feel better.
Well, as you know, Tom, Yuengling is the standard in all refrigerators in this area. So funny since I use to snub that beer when I was younger. For me, it's my summer beer. I got a sampler case of Magic Hat this winter that I really enjoyed. I'd say go for a sampler case if you want some variety.
On hold with the Drs office. DS#2 either has a very bad sprain or has broken his arm. YIPEE!!!!

Moe I remember the first time I signed my name on official work stuff too.

Tiff I can help you out with some University of Michgian stuff, just let me know.
Thanks for the lesson Tom. Yep they showed us the triangle diagram the first day. Unfortunately though my exam tomorrow is on Hazardous Materials awareness and operations.
Quick check in before I head out to the door for my last PT session, woo hoo.

Had a fun time last night at DD's last baseball practice of the season. THe coach asked if any of us dads would like to come out and play the field. Of course I left my mitt at home last night but I took up his offer and played anyways. What a great time. I even threw my daugheter out at second .

Visited my grandpa after practice. He wasnt awake while I was there. It was but wasnt a good visit. I think I said everything I needed to while I was there.

QOD My cheap beer is my normal beer. When I do have any beer in the fridge ( which is very few and far between ), its Coors Light. Im trying to expand my horizons with beers that you beer afficinados have recommended. Guess theat means going to an actual liquor store instead of the grocery or corner convenience mart.
Good morning!

(((Coleen and DS))) I hope it's not a break.
Manager Moe yay!
Good luck on your test Larry

QODYuengling is also a staple in my house. I enjoy the lager. Since I have a soft spot for Jamaica, we also always seem to have some Red Stripe in the house...Unfortunaely, I cannot give that stuff away. No one will take it.
Mornin'! Cold out there today!

Colleen those sons of yours keep you on your toes!!

Beth what's the deal with this friend of yours!

LL you'll rock that test...I just know it.

I keep meaning to tell you that you have an interesting job, Tiff. You always have a neat story to tell.
