That's greta news, TW! Makes me happy to hear you're running.

Nice pace, Mike!

No running for me today. Temps dropped overnight and we woke up late to a couple of inches of fresh clean snow. Would have been a lovely day to run, but I wouldn't trade today's nice day for yesterday's experience for anything.

Might try out my new yoga-for-runners DVD later.

Have a wonderful day, everybody!!

Heme, those experiences can't be beat. I still enjoy the race I ran a few years ago with Bill Rodgers finishing right behind me in a 5k.

Way to go TW.

Mike, you are getting the weather a day behind us.

Afternoon all,

It was a perfect morning for a long run. I met up with the OKC running club and ran 20.2 miles. I felt great the whole run and was very pleased with that after yesterdays race.

Have a great Sunday.

Our our rain turn into full wet snow and currently beginning to acculmulate.

Indeed, Heme, you deserve a rest day.

I did 8 yesterday, and have noticed my right achilles has not fully recovered from the race, may be even worse.

It's flares up after any long run, but is usually gone in a day or two with some massage.

It's just taking it's time I guess so I'm off the trail for a day or two.

Hey Johnny - no rain here for several days, but this morning is gray overcast and low 40's. I'm on the North Olympic Peninsula, north of Olympic National Park, next to the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Our weather here is really pretty moderate. We don't get the rain that many areas east of us do.

I feel like a new person today. Just finished a yoga/stretch workout and plan on heading out soon to run my 10-mile "rolling hills route" on the bike trail at a leisurely pace.

Hi, gang.

Five steady miles here. Second consecutive day of this effort -- something that did not occur at all in '10. Hopefully this starts a bit of a groove. Light rain, temps a touch over 50 for both days. Yes, shorts....

Good runs, all

Most of this mornings run was on the marathon course. No specific tips or advice on the course. The main thing is what direction the wind will be from on marathon day, if strong out of the south be sure to save something for the run down Classen (miles 20-23).

Lookin' good, Baba!

JJJ.... I had nagging Achilles problems last year, and in desperation put small gel lifts (<1/4") in each shoe under the insole. No problems now, but am a bit afraid to take them out.

Hi all....got up super early (for me) and ran 4 miles at dawn. No drinkin' either....Then off to work, no rain yippee. Just a few more days of this hectic schedule, then back to underemployment. I think I can hang.

Nice run in the new shoes TW.

Yoga for runners....Heme, I'd be interested in the particulars (name, instructor, etc) for that. I'm getting tired of my DVD (Rodney Yee)

Nice runs Mike & Rip........the way Charlie Sheen is goin' the only gig he's gonna get will be Major League 3 or 4 or whatever it's up to.

Happy Feat....you're a real PNWer.....I'm down here about 30 miles north of the Calif. line (as the crow flies). I really don't consider that PNW anyway. Nice 10 miler today for you.

JJJ,

Make your feet as strong as possible. It can really help

with PF and achilles problems. It helps to balance

off the strong calves. Spending time in some

flat, flexible running shoes can help (like

the Nike Free 3.0). GOod luck with that.
