Lake Tahoe advertises their marathon far-and-wide with spectacular pictures of their course.<br><br>
They also have a triple marathon, where you circle the lake in sections: 3 marathons over 3 days.<br><br>
The marathon is on Saturday, 9/29. The triple is that Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (sharing the regular course on Saturday).<br><br>
I'm doing the triple. Followed by a 4th marathon that Sunday. This is called doing the "Quadzilla", and it has actually been a few years since anyone (by that I do mean "anyone"<img alt="wink.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/wink.gif"> has done this.<br><br>
Anybody doing the Lake Tahoe Marathon?

The Tahoe Triple is high on my list of events to do.<br><br>
Also last year, they offered the around-the-lake ultra. Not sure I would like this as much as the triple since they start you out in the middle of the night you have to run on the highway shared with vehicular traffic.<br><br>
But the triple, some year. Some year...<br><br>

I am really coming. I'll be there Wednesday through Saturday. I'll have to bail fairly quickly after the race, depending on how far everything is from the reno airport.<br><br>
