Looking to buy a new suit.
Looks like the latest style is three button jacket.. I've always bought two button or double breasted..
So what do you think?
I'm either going black, dark blue, or very thin pin stripe

As long as it fits well and there are no pleats in the trousers, you'll look sharp!

1!

Either leave the bottom button or bottom two buttons undone. Never button all three. Though I often why the hell they give you three buttons if you're not supposed to use them, but I reckon them's the rules.

Don't be sad, Voo. Even on a flat stomach, pleats aren't flattering. They tend to add bulk. At least....a jacket would cover it up, right?

Suits are hot. I wanna go on a hot date that requires getting dressed up.

Boys aren't good at this. You ask what STYLE looks best, or you pick 3 you can afford and ask of the choices.

Style that's best depends on how the person looks.

But again, properly fitted is the best look. If you can splurge and get one that is just tailored to you - you'll look amazing.

Of course, guys look hot in suits anyways. (Most of 'em, anyways, the ones that don't look like they're headed to court to stand trial) I love a man in a suit!

The rule is "sometimes [top], always [middle], never [bottom]" So in fact you should always button the MIDDLE button.

I used to sell men's clothing.

Charcoal grey is your best bet. NOT black. Black is for funerals. Charcoal grey (with or without pinstripe) is actually the most formal suit without looking funereal.

If you are slim, a two button is a better look. Three button tends to be less fitted. Unless you get a European cut (double vented vs single vent), which just tends to be slim.

Buy the best quality suit you can...but $350 should be enough for a good classic suit. Esp if you hit a sale. And make sure you get it tailored well. The most important fit issue is the shoulders...pretty much everything else can be altered without too much work.

This reminds me I'll have to buy a new suit one of these days. I swim in the suit I just bought a couple years ago or so.

But then again, I could do a David Byrne a la Stop Making Sense and break out the old size-54 suit that I keep as a fond reminder of sorts of where I once was.

3 buttons fo sho, in whatever color or stripe-ness you like. You can get nice brands like Hugo Boss in your price range if you live near one of their outlets. Boss' fit is kind of slim; I dunno what your build is like but when I'm in shape (not currently, in other words) they look pretty sharp.

three button. Grey. Or grey pinstripe. With a steel blue tie. No pleats either.
