I'm playing hookey today, and in doing so, I am getting my LR out of the way. Shooting for 10. Will see what happens when I'm out there, as it's hotter and muggier than last week, I think.

Yep. Hot and muggy. It's 10+ ° warmer this morning than it was yesterday, and supposed to get up to 90 or something. pffththt. And rain and humidity and all that rot.

Took today off so I could pick up the house a little bit. Wish I had time to take Gus for a walk, but don't, and it will be to hot for him later.

Morning Gang -

Hi Kath and Ailarie. Muggy and crazy warm here too. 83 degrees during my run at 5:00 a.m.! Nothing like heat to force me into ultra ultra slow recovery pace. 3.1 miles done.

Heading to the cabin today and my parents cabin tomorrow. Yipee!

Well, it's beautiful weather here this morning! I got the morning (and the month!) off to a nice start with an easy 3.8 mile run on a nice 65 degree morning. I actually don't know what the weather will be like for the rest of the weekend. I assume I'll do some kind of long run tomorrow, but just how long will depend on how much I drink at the wedding, I guess.

Morning everyone! I had 11 on tap this morning and planned to run the first 4 with DH. It was 75 and supah humid. Unfortunately, 2 miles in the lightning and thunder started and was very close. So we bagged it at 4. This means I will log 2 longish runs back to back this weekend. I am not particularly excited about that, but as you all know, I am no stranger to that method.

I am hoping to get out of work early today, but will not run this afternoon as it is supposed to be 100 degrees. Here is our forecast: Mostly Sunny Hi 99° RealFeel® 107°

Morning all! After getting up and showering and checking on my flight I saw that it was delayed by a couple hours (crew issue) so I got myself outside to soak in some seriously AMAZING conditions. Easy 6 miles finishing with 4x strides. Flying into STL in just a little bit and also into that nasty weather Mindi & Kath mention... gonna be a hot one; grateful for this last morning of cool & calm.

Good luck Ailarie!

I intended to get up and run this morning but tummy was bothering me. Not sure I would have enjoyed 6 miles at a heat index of 90+ at 5 a.m. wtf minnesota. Seriously. We'll see about running later tonight.

In the words of Lightning McQueen (from Cars), Ka-CHOW! (okay... so I wasn't fast like McQueen, but anyway). 12 miles in stupidly muggy conditions. Wanted to bail at 10. Wanted that dozen, even more.

Be safe out there in these conditions, guys. Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate!
