I'm just curious, maybe they're leery after the experience at Cool Running. We're different, and I can almost guarantee that they wouldn't have the same reception.<br><br>
I wish I knew how much they contributed $ wise to Dave, but I'd think that 100 bucks a month wouldn't be that much to ask, would it?

I'm hoping we get someone to step up to sponsor us. I'm good for a few months; but we'll need to get creative. I was kinda fearful that after the first 'volunteerism' of supporting the site financially subsided, we'd see that many 'talk' but few 'walk'....<br><br>

Actually met him in Cincy a few years back at the Flying Pig, and we had a good laugh with him - He was a gent, and although I don't endorse his methods, have to say he seems to be a very good fit for a lot of our runners.<br><br>

I have chatted with Jeff on several occasions. He lives in Sandy Springs and every time I run past the Galloway School (named for his dad) at the north end of Chastain Park I always slow to a walk in his honour.<br><br>

I am the moderator of the Multi-Sports forum on KickRunners.com. The site started several years ago as an informal way for old running buddies to keep in touch, but has evolved rapidly over the last year into a thriving community of about 1200 active members. Some of that growth has been due to a migration from the old Cool Running site, and some has been via word-of-mouth.<br><br><br>
The site is NOT intended as an alternate CoolRunning, every user is manually activated for example, so the troll population is kept to a minimum. "Respect" is the watchword.<br>
The site is hosted (and the bills footed) privately by Richard Ford, and he's intent on keeping it as "ad-free" an experience as possible. I think that Rich is interested though in exploring a possible relationship along the same lines as the one you have with Active.<br><br>
