Here's my too precise by half answer.

My plan is to run 1500 miles in 2008. If you do all the math, that means I need to run 127.05 miles (don't want to forget those 264 feet!) in January.

I found a plan that ORRC put together for basebuilding. I'd like to do slightly more in the way of long runs. I put myself right in the middle of the beginning plan (approx. 30 miles a week). I'd like to think I could handle the intermediate plan but as much as I made huge progress this year, I'm just not there yet. A man's got to know his limitations. Anyway, that comes about to 140.11 planned (with a half marathon in place of one of the long runs).
