Didn't MEAN to do a hill today, but it was the only route I could be reasonably certain would be clear the whole way. Just as I was reaching the crest, a group of High Schoolers saw me coming.

"Dude looks cold" one stated. I was only wearing a t-shirt over my L/S Tech shirt today, since the temp was above freezing, the wind was calm and what snow was falling was very light.

"Oh.My.GOD!" another girl exclaimed "He's JOGGING!!!"

Personally, I hoped to be moving a little more quickly than a JOG, but I was happy to be noticed.

After completing my tour around the back of the High School and headingback down the hill, I saw the same crew near the bottom about 1/2 mile ahead. Within a few minutes I caught up to them and crossed the street as not to interrupt whatever hijinx they were up to.

Y'know ... There's a certain boost you get when a bunch of kids [no matter how punky, grunge or Goth they may be] shout "Looking good, dude!!! Keep it up!!"

If I didn't have to get back to work ... I could've done a couple more miles, easy
