Well the week is half over now, I stayed up through half time of last nights debacle and then I went to bed. I don't think even having Robbie Hummel would have helped the Boilermakers last night. OSU was hitting just about every shot they took and Purdue couldn't defend anyone.

Oh well.

I am now very late for my run.

Morning.

I had an uneventful day yesterday. I expected all hell to break loose since the teacher was out and so was my partner assistant. I was left holding the back with 3 EBD/Autistic/Psych students.

It went swimmingly smooth.

Whew.

Was planning on a run this afternoon but I am needed at DS's robotics meeting this afternoon. Oh well.

Happy birthday, porty! Another snow day here. You guys would laugh at the paltry amounts of snow that close school here.

But I have to go to work, so it's daycare for the kids.

It is unexpectedly snowing here, was not supposed to snow until this evening. I need to check my work messages, maybe I won't be working after all, LOL. I do need to go to a local woman's place and get some craigslist things though. I am supposed to get a massage today, so hoping to work so i can do that! LOL

Hope you all are doing well. I don't know what the connection problems are, but it's been next to impossible to post here.

Anyway, we're expecting a cool front to come through with some much needed rain.

Take care all.

SNOW DAY!!!!! DH left for work and it was a "white out" and none of the streets (even the major ones) are plowed, so no work for me and Zoe today and hoping it is all clear by tomorrow afternoon, i do not work until 2pm, so hoping. Hopefully DH does not have to work or does not have to work much today in these conditions The worst is yet to come this afternoon/night. Sigh.

Good Morning all,

Working from home again today.

Boiler. Your cartoon today reminds me of something that happend when I was stationed in Germany. There is something about GIs and kids. A GI can find the deepest, darkest, hidey hole and a kid will always find them. Anyway we were out controlling aircraft during an excercise called Cloudy Chours. We were on a hill top above a small town and the kids came up to watch what was going on. We were nearly three quarters through the day and we were getting a series of British Harriers coming through. One plane came through at about 360 knots and just under 90 meters AGL. After the plane did his pass the other controller that was with me got on the radio and said we had some VIPs with us and asked if the guy could come back for a little Harrier magic. The pilot did a popup and returned to our location. He went into a hover and then a 360 turn. When he completed the turn he dipped the nose of the Harrier, turned and took off blowing our table over and our maps all over the place. The kids loved it and brought us beer the next day.
