<p>I'm wearing new boots that I ordered a few weeks ago from LLBean and were supposedly backordered until March. Not only did I get them much sooner, but they are great, fit my calves and are just what I wanted, at a reasonable price. </p>

<p>Hi all - a lot of family to-do yesterday. My dad is flying over to the Philippines today on a medical mission for three weeks or so, so a couple of my sibs with the contingent of nieces & nephews stopped on by to say hi/bye.</p>

<p>All you midwest and parts southward folks might want to keep the warm gear handy - I'm sort of a weather geek and the forums I've been reading have been hinting of an "epic" Siberian Express setup that would shoot extremely cold air (and single-digit temps) as far as the Gulf mid-to-late next week. Of course, I'd love for the models to be completely wrong on this, considering I'm flying out two Fridays from now to OH</p>

And they are worth it, IMO...I've spent years looking for something that fits well, are leather, are tall enough, etc...these (and the other pair I bought, the equestrian boots), fit the bill exactly. So much so, that I'm tempted to order a second pair of both and put them away after these wear out.</p>

<p>Hey, everyone! I seem to have some crazy growth on the inside of my nose, and it's making it all painful and swollen and red. Lovely image, I know. </p>

<p>Other than a bulbous nose, nothing too much is going on here. I'm trying to get back into the swing of things at work, not very successfully, but I'll get there.</p>

I got the wide. But I tried on my upstairs neighbor's in the regular width, and if that's all they'd had, I could have worn them. These are better because I can actually tuck jeans in them. They run wide anyway (although some of the reviews said people felt the shoe of the regular was narrow.)</p>

<p>We got a new bed for Christmas and I'm loving it! So comfy! I'm also loving the new comforter set that we got to go with it. I feel so grown up, a "real" bed after sleeping on a futon for many years!</p>

<p>So we really need a routine in this house!! Aiden has been pulling anight owl routine and while it's fine right now since DH is still off, next week when he goes back to work, it won't fly!! But in general, life is good, Colin is doing really well, even letting me get some longish stretches of sleep, and quite a happy kiddo!</p>

<p>Moe oh those boots are exactly what I have been looking for!!!!! I LOVE them!! I wonder if theyhave any of the tall boots in their stores? Would love to try them on before getting them. Might have to place a call!</p>

<p> I am back at work after a long weekend of being sick (yeah, New Years kinda sucked this year), but I probably still could have taken another day off. I have a few other things going on in addition to the strep and it's a bit painful to talk, eat, and drink still. I've lost a few lbs this week because of it. I am not feverish or feeling run down any longer, at least, and I figured I'd go stir-crazy with another day at home so I came in. I had blocked my schedule for today on Sunday night just in case I'd need to call off, so I am not seeing any students at least, just am catching up on other stuff instead. Tomorrow it is back to the normal, hope I'm in better shape then. 
I do have to call off from volunteering at the hospital tonight though so will at least have a more restful Tuesday evening than normal.</p>
