DD2 was so amazed on the drive out here. It started snowing. She was so happy and wanted to make a snowman. Too bad it's just some flurries!<br><br>

No run for me today. DH heading up to our cabin, so I have kid duty.<br><br>
But, I am going to sign up for <b>Lifetime Turkey Trot</b>, <b>Cranegirl</b>. I think <b>Brandy</b> and <b>Baggs</b> are doing it too. I'm going to the store to register in person because then I get 20% off merchandise and I need new running shoes. (But it said register BY November 18, so I'm thinking I may have missed deadline; gonna try to sweettalk my way into the discount!)<br><br>

Just back from a nice four miles, no idea how long it took me since the battery in my garmin died just as I started. Had a great time with the 30's last night! There was beer, wine, food, pictures (we'll have to get them off the camera), laughter, and oh yes, GROPING. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Very Happy"><br><br>
It was great to meet <b>BigG, Nettie, Moe, Bard, winter, voo, liam (and his SO), Colleen, Notey, Solitude, HH, Frankie, and Moon</b> (I didn't realize that <b>Dr.Wu</b> was with us until he was leaving <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/sad.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Sad"> ), and to hang with <b>Theia, Tom, Tim, Lori (and her DH), and Trevor</b> again. Hi gang! It's me and Prae! We just had breakfast at the hotel (they even have a waffle iron, cool!) and now we're gonna get cleaned up and head to the expo. I'm excited because of all the runs I've ever done, the expo hasn't been much of anything...if they even have an expo. It's a nice day out there and I hope it stays nice for tomorrow! I'm really nervous about doing the run...yikes.<br><br>
So neat to meet people last night! We had a really fun, albeit late, night! Lots of laughs. It's cool how people are just as nice in person as they are on the board! Can't wait to meet more later today!
