Oh. I had lots of fun to report for yesterday.

I went to a friend's spa party in the afternoon. Dropped a bunch of money that I wouldn't normally spend on things I wouldn't normally buy...

I hosted a going away party for one of my co workers. A group of us went for dinner and a night of comedy at the local comedy club. It went very well. Everybody seemed to have a good time. My co worker friend, who's moving away to the Niagara region and switching government departments, had a great time. I'm going to miss her. She was touched by the turnout and I was happy that everybody enjoyed themselves. Good times!

In other news, Chopper met my eldest yesterday. Coincidentally, later, I met his eldest as well. Very casual. Just Hi. It's all good. Strangely, my DS#2 is really accepting of it all and is talking about what ifs. Like if at some point we all move in together, he doesn't want to share his room with his little brother. He says out of the five kids involved in this amalgamation (his word, not mine) of families, which involves Chopper's two daughters and my three sons, he, being the middle child of the boys, would be the most likely to have to share a room. Been there. Done that! was his take on it. aaaa....I told him he was going way to fast for my taste, but that his concern had been noted.

Meeting his daughter was weird. not bad. just weird. she seems to be a lovely girl. Very lovely, in fact. It made me realize that ...well...it made me realize a bunch of stuff. That is all.
