to review the past and plan ahead.

Things that went well: new job, marriage, dogs, cooking more, working out more, passed 3 out of 4 CPA exams and have the retest bitch rescheduled, more time with family, more time with friends, more time with myself, I am stronger for the decisions I've made and I feel stronger. I feel better than I have, maybe ever, and I'm excited for today.

Things that could have gone better: eh. Lotsa stuff coulda gone better, can't change it now.

Things that I will continue to work on: marriage, family, friends, me.

Now - you go. How was your year?

I don't want to talk about it. May and June were awesome.

Things that went well:

got a great new job in March, LOVIN' on my new boss.

Have a wonderful new pad.

Had a bumpy summer, but (as much as you non-believers hate to hear me say it) God was so in control and His mercies shined heavy on me.

When it's all said and done, I will have gotten to see my family three times this year, which is two times more than most years.

I ran in more races this year than I have in the past five since I went on running sabatical.

My head doctor is weaning me off the anti-depressant, and I'm finally feel like I have the tools and abilities to 'cope' with life sans medicinal intervention.

Things that could have gone better: As the year draws to a close, I've become more and more of a flake towards keeping commitments to do stuff with friends. I

I feel like I'm always tired.

I really need to use my waking hours more wisely.

My personal discipline in all areas is also teh suck!

Things that I will continue to work on:
my relationships with my inner circle of friends,

my commitment/discipline in working out/running,

my involvement with my family-it's so easy to distance myself from them living so far away, but I'm going to try to make the trek north at least once a quarter.

First gut feel: Great.

Upon Reflection: A lot of hard shit to go through, but I did, so on the whole a good year.

Health could have been better, but I found out why my energy and mood levels were so low and it's been a quick fix in that regard. Asthma... well it's under control too.

Family is doing really well, and the kids are heading out the door next fall, so I'm enjoying being with them while I can.

Work is a bear, but thanks to better living through chemistry I'm pretty much in balance.

Next year: Drink more beer.
