The temps are definitely IRC, but my-o-my it's really DARK in the morning!!

6.5 miles before work through the neighbourhood, with my head lamp and reflectors on. Felt OK, but the foot's going to need some attention before next Saturday.

Morning Heme and those to follow. ((footsies))

I needed sleep more than a long run. Slept in this morning and got 10 hours of sleep. Normally I get 6 hrs or 7 hrs if I'm lucky. Feel a little "off" today so I think I'm going to blow running off today. My type A personality is beginning to be a type A- or B+ personality but that will change soon enough. :)

Got the glitches out of my garage door opener last night and now just need to reroute the wiring and clean up the garage. Crossing fingers it will still work when I'm done. Actually I am pretty fair about the house but just don't make the time to do it anymore. Julie and I have tiled the floors, put down laminate flooring in several rooms, built a deck, etc. It's just not as fun as it used to be.

check in later to see what the kids are up to.

I think I am one of those kids.

Heme, It's only dark if you get up real early. The only time I see dark in the morning is at a race.

That garage door opener installing must have really worn you out KS.

I am a little worn down after the last 3 days so tomorrow will be a day off

after my run today. Rain all day so I may do my first treadmill run in a few months.

Still haven't decided what to do this weekend but it may be a small half marathon on a rail trail.

My alarm was set too late and missed my morning run. Then I dreamed that I woke up and checked the clock and in that dream it was still two hours too early so I kept on sleeping...

But it is all good because this was going to be my rest day anyway.

Three miles warmup on the TM at lunch and a few minutes pretending to work the weights and that's all for me.

6 EZ pace miles for me tonight. I don't want to say it too loudly, but I'm in freak-out mode over Sunday's HM....absolutely everything hurts and I know/hope it's just psychological. Maybe I should make an effort to do more than one or two races per year; then it wouldn't be such a big deal. So far only 85 entries and only one other gal in my age group; but there could be same-day entrants. If not, I'll be racing against myself and past times.

Sounds like taper time HF. You'll be fine when race time comes.

Bob, I did the same thing monday morning. I wake up with the roosters every morning (on my cell phone) and hit the snooze. Slept right through their next round

and woke up an hour and a half later.

10 miles on the treadmill this evening. After 4 miles, I did a quarter mile hill each mile starting at 3% incline increasing to 5.5% the last one. Kept the pace the same the last 7 miles so the run took a little under 75 minutes.
