They were extremely nice and <span style="text-decoration:underline;">very</span> cute. My sister Jen in Calif. told me last night she sent them to "help" me - wasn't that sweet! It's just the sorta thing she'd do.</p>

<p>So, the official results posted online today and my Garmin matches their chip time of 2:05. </p>

<p>I was the only one in my age group; came in 6th out of 10 in the Masters category, 56th out of 91 total entrants, and 34th out of 56 females.</p>

<p>My biggest takeaway from this event was proving to myself how much I've learned this past year about running hills, managing my pace, paying attention to my posture, and how I use different muscles in running. I felt like I had the tools I needed to try and run faster than usual and not fall apart. It was a very good feeling.</p>
