Met a small group for a run this morning. 8 miles along the bayfront farther and faster than I should have run. No wind today which is very unusual. It's overcast and muggy. Yard needs some attention today after being gone a week. Must do that this morning after the neighbors are up and moving. :)

Have memorial service to attend this afternoon. DW's aunt passed away while we were gone. Her health was as bad as anyone I know so we were not surprised really.

Rip is racing this weekend? Who else? I know some long runs are planned.

One of our newer running ladies this morning told us she is getting married in Oct. in Scotland and then they and some of our other friends are running the Loch Ness marathon in Ireland. Jealous.

12 miles for me this morning - rolling hills route - was perfect, but I couldn't have run one step farther.

Disco Dan may think he's not as fit as he used to be, but I'm certainly awestruck by his pacing.

The Loch Ness Marathon is in Scotland and jealous doesn't quite cover it. I should make some kinda plan to go do that or something similar (since I don't run marathons) since I have peeps to stay with.
