And thanks for the big ups! Last nights' race was so much fun, well you know for running hills on trails in the warmth & in oxygen debt. It was a great event, very low key esp compared to those NYRR puts on... NYRR races have thousands of people, this series put on by the Van Cortlandt Track Club had less than a 100. It felt good to look around and see everyone starting at the same time, no chip timing, no fancy water stations, just running. One dude ran with his dog! This series continues through the summer every other Thursday evening, same course, for 7 races in total. I'm definitely going back now! 1). I didn't die 2). I need to run it better now knowing what to expect 3). the aforementioned vibe is worth the trek to the Bronx 4). the cost can't be beat ($5!) 5). I now know who the women are in my age group and intend to beat the top 3 next time and earn myself a carrot cake muffin

Today may end up being my rest day for the week, I slept in this morning and may meet up with peeps at the beer garden this evening.

Good luck to the weekend's racers... I know KP will be busting out a sweet HM, anyone else?
