It occurs to me...

that some of you may be wondering about Ian.<br><br>
He's been interviewed and accepted at 4 different residential treatment programs and has expressed his sound opinions about all of them and his desire to enter one in particular. I decided that his choice about programs to enter is an important one regarding buy-in and ultimate success so we're going with the one he most wants to attend.<br><br>
It's about 45 minutes from here, and I don't have a whole lot more information until tomorrow.

Yes, buy in is a major determinant. When one of our boys was diagnosed with Asperger he was quite resistant to the idea of any form of counselling, but when he met with the team that works with him now - and they actually showed an interest in what he though and felt, it turned him around. Good for Ian.
