So adorable! Please submit some pictures of them doing things like biting or making messes or something so that I don't want some of my own. Thanks in advance.

Alls I got over here is my own baby picture for the contest at work.

My boys don't bite (hard) or make messes (much)

Actually, Lintu, there was a thread around here that should serve as pretty good birth control. Those of us who've had kids already were trying our damndest to scare the crap outta the pregnant ladies. (rite of passage and all that)

I'm a terrible photographer! Even with a digital camera I'm lousy. Every picture I take is blurry or dark or both!

LL-those are great pictures. You've got the touch-for sure.

Lintu-that photo of you is PRICELESS!! So cute!

LOL! See, the only time I can take her picture is when she's asleep or resting because she moves too much otherwise. Now I know what she was doing in my belly-definitely a squirmer! And, then, if she's sleeping or resting the flash startles her and she wakes up too much and starts squirming again.
I'm going to keep trying tho~!

Luckylilly - You're pictures really make me smile. I can't believe they are already smiling, and it looks like they are holding up their heads. That's great! I bet you are already beginning to see bit of their personalities show through.

Will you please come to my house and take pictures? I'll pay you. Your photos are so wonderful!

Thanks! We're doing fine. I learned how to breast feed and lie down at the same time and we mastered it last night-HOORAH!!! My milk is still not quite there, so we're having to supplement a little with formula, but the need is dropping. Bikegirl gave me a lot of help the other day_I bombarded her with 50 questions and am not feeling quite as helpless. Mike and I finally decided to do what works best for us. The first 2 days were great and then I started following "the rules" and it messed everyone up. Now I'm back to what is working for us. So far so good. I really kept thinking about you guys and that you are doing it with 2 so I should be easier on myself and it'll all come together. And it is.

I'd love to...but TX is a little far! And, thank you!

Breastfeeding IS hard, so if something works for you and Emily, even if its not "the right way" go with it! I found that if I try to latch Joel by following "the rules" he ends up chomping down with his gums, pulling his tongue to the roof of his mouth, and all of that. Its much easier for us if I just hold him close to me and let him do it himself. He gets a good latch, and its so much more comfortable for both of us!

Joel was a challenge to feed from the start, until I learned to just relax and let him do what worked for him, now we have a much less anxiety-riddled feeding relationship. But it took 6 weeks to get there. Hang in there, it will get better. And the more you nurse, the more milk you'll make!
