Pretty soon you'll be *that guy* that the neighbors look at funny.

I pretty much inked my reputation as "that guy" in the neighborhood last 4th of July. It was a hot one here in the Northwest and all the neighbors were hanging out drinking beer and getting ready to party (got to warm up for these things, you know). I stood around talking for a while, then remarked "well, it's the hottest part of the day now, time for me to do my run." The reactions were a mix of blank stares and spewed beer.

Oh, I've been *that guy* for many years now. I was more concerned about the "waking up early" aspect. Right now, I have yet to wake up at 5:30 to do a workout before work; I always hit snooze. My recent college years haven't worn off yet

Oh, my bike/run bricks got me some looks this summer! Hop off the bike at the curb, run into the garage (in cycling shoes!), only to head out a minute later in running shoes. And got some looks over the winter, too, when I ran in snow and single digit weather.

Now, I think my neighbor is nuts. He likes to run down the street backwards!
