<p>Do you have any clues what caused the stomache issues? do you think you went too hard on the bike and it shut down or something? Very curious for sure. All the normal failures people have don't seem to fit - and that's quite a stretch from your 3:45, but still you cannot really compare them - there's nothing similar. Remember, you STARTED the marathon 7.5hrs of tired... so you won't run your best.</p>

<p>Nice job Dave.  You might try chucking that aero bottle as it can give people stomach cramps like it did myself.  The problem with that bottle is that you are sucking in air every time you go for a sip.  Its not like the liquid is right there at the tip of the straw, you need to suck in some air to get it.  Going to the bathroom doesn't help either as you found out, you just need to deal with it until it goes away.  I have gone with a Torpedo bottle mount, similar to what Macca uses.  No cramps.</p>
