It's the Broomfield Mini Haha (mini 'cause it's short, haha 'cause it's fun!).

300 yard pool swim
11 mile bike
2 mile run

Whee! It's a fun, laid back race. I'm excited for it. They opened registration up today and they will probably be full by the end of the week. I got mine in way early, so I knew I'd get a spot.

I just registered for Tri for the Cure the other day. Still trying to figure out what others to do and leaning toward a pool swim tri in Highlands Ranch on June 7. I know I need to decide on some others before they sell out. Hmmm.. better get to it!

I haven't 100% decided on Tri for the Cure. I should find out when Rattlesnake closes so I don't miss it!!

Are you up north or down south?

I'm south... about a mile from CC State Park. (Which is why TFTC is so easy for me!)

Are you going to do the Sprint or Oly for Rattlesnake? I think I want to try Oly but am scared I won't be able to train properly. The Oly is on Sat 8/16 and Sprint is Sun 8/17.... they don't specify when registration closes, just when it fills up.

Let me know what other races you are thinking about! Are you planning to run Bolder Boulder this year?

Did you see when the Rattlesnake one fills? I'm balking right now at the $95 fee for the Oly. That's the one I want to do. I think if I had to, I could complete the thing right now, albeit it not well. But I think I can get there.

I'm hoping to do the BB. I am leading a training group for it at work right now, so they are probably expecting me to be there.

I am doing the Mini-haha, maybe a bike race up in Loveland in May, the half marathon on May 4th in Ft. Collins, a sprint tri in KS, maybe TFTC, and the Good Sam Bike Jam here in Lafayette on Sept 14th.

I can be talked into other races, pretty much any time.

What are you doing?

No I didn't do Race for the Cure. I'm thinking about doing the Race for Your Cause at Boulder Res in May. I have a horrible work schedule this summer. I'll be gone pretty much the whole month of July with little opportunity to train during that time.

I'm going to try to do that race in May, a few of the Stroke and Strides and the Buffalo Creek XTERRA in June. Then come back to town and do a race in August and the Crescent Moon Sprint again in September.

You know there are four XTERRA's in Colorado now? I really wanted to do the one in Nederland August 2nd.
http://www.xterraplanet.com/races/map.cfm

But you did the mini-haha in broomfield last year, right?

I know you didn't do Tri for the Cure, because I'm pretty sure you are a guy.

Xterra scares me.

lol, yep, I'm a guy. I did a similar tri called the Table Mountain Tri at the YMCA in Arvada, not the mini haha. It was my first. I don't see that one on the schedule yet for this year. I actually liked that gym so much I switched to it. That's where I work out now.

The Indian Peaks XTERRA is a sprint distance one, instead of the normal XTERRA distance, which is closer to an oly. If I get back from my work trip early enough, I might still do it.

Hmmm.. it was someone on the MS board that did it. Cgrode? IS that right?

I'm HORRIBLE with names. I had it in my head it was you, but it make sense that it wasn't, because I wasn't looking for your Army jersey, I was looking for something else.
