<p>Morning! Spending most of the day in the studio. I was down there by 5am, took a break to get my run in and cheer for people doing the Dart Frog Dash that passes through my neighborhood, having breakfast now, and then will head back down there.</p>

<p>Later afternoon I have my cousin's college graduation party, after that is an opening reception at the gallery & I need to make an appearance.</p>

<p>The weather has been rainy here all day.  I cleaned my room out.  I've been meaning to get rid of the boxes in my room from the move last August.  Today was the day.  Man!  I need some furniture in there.  Without all the boxes, it's kind of barren.  And now I'm thinking I'm going to paint.  Make it my own.  It's time.</p>

<p>Yep.  I now own a 2nd vehicle.  Thanks to an interest-free loan from mom.  I had about half of the funds on my own, but she's been kind of insistent on me getting another car since the divorce last year (she didn't trust my 11 year old CRV).  After the break-in (which I still haven't shared with her), I decided that the 2nd vehicle idea wasn't such a bad thing, as it would at least make it look like someone was home at all times.  Not that I think the guys that did break in are coming back, but hopefully the 2nd vehicle will be a deterrent for anyone else down the line.</p>

<p>Initially we went to pick up the vehicle last weekend. </p>

<p>Unfortunately, they screwed up and the remote entry keys were not working.  So, I ended up with a loaner for the week, and on Friday I picked up my own vehicle.</p>

<p>So.. between this, the new roof, and a new computer - I am going to be such a broke chica for a while.  However, at least I'll be a chica with a solid roof over my head, some sweet & reliable wheels to drive around in, and since I'll be spending a lot of time at home for financial reasons, the computer can at least provide some entertainment. </p>

<p>Hey all - sorry I have been out of the loop a couple days - very very very busy at work.  I actually ended up working last night until 9:00 pm - not exactly what I had in mind for the weekend.  I am heading back in soon too.  But all is not lost, there is FUN on the radar.</p>

<p>The boys (all 3) and I did the mud run this morning.  It is 4.6 miles with 16 obstacles.  We were on the police team so we got to start first, which is really cool (last year it took us over an hour before we started).  Both my boys rocked the house.  James was way out in front and had to stop and wait for us a few times.  Jake nailed it and only walked once for about 15 seconds.  Not bad given that the furthest he had run before was a 5K.  There is a big mud pit at the end and when he got out of it, the entire crowd went nuts and were screaming for him.  It was awesome.</p>

Need to be downstairs throwing pots, but the damp weather has settled into my bones (Jeez, how old do I sound) and all my arthritic and other easily annoyed bits are aching. (We've had a 30° drop in temp, so it is at least a big barometer swing. Not that knowing that makes my hands, shoulder, low back, hips and feet ache less. Pffththt.)</p>
