She always gets mad at me because I don't have to do much to stay in-shape. We've been talking about me joining her at the races. I love the vibe that I feel when I see her run. I really don't know how I'd do with the long, slower pace thing. I'm used to the short bursts that are associated with B-ball. What if I do well? I don't want to hut her feelings. I told her I'm a man, so I should do well, relatively speaking, but she always beats half of the men in her races, so it should be a good race.

Run a race if you want to run a race. But discuss before hand if you two will be running it together from start to finish or if you are planning to run all out on your own.

There isn't any protocol. If you want to run as fast as you can, do it. If you just want to run a race with her, do that. Like muzicgrl said, it depends on your goal. If you are worried about potentially upseting your lady, then talk to her about it.

This isn't difficult.

Are you sure the both of you aren't trolls?

My spidey senses are tingling, or maybe I'm just horny, I dunno.
