Yep.

If he doesn't like how it looks, I'd offer to let him know ahead of time when I'd be wearing it so that he can avert his eyes.

Yes, but probably less.
Not on purpose, but usually my SO is the only one I care if he thinks I look good, so if I know he doesn't like it, it will kind of fade

Depends on why he doesn't like it. If it says Obama and he supports Clinton, I'll wear it. It is has a tomato juice stain right over the boob and it bugs the hell out of him, I won't.

Yes. i'll wear it. you don't like it... don't buy one for yourself.

the problem becomes when she thinks that what's mine is hers and things end up 'missing'... like, say, your most favoritest tshirt ever... that was old and soft and might have been sewn back together a few times or more but you loved it and never wore it outside anyway so what's it matter because you jsut want to be comfortable when you're home and relaxing on the couch and what business is it if it might need to be sewn again it's still comfortable...

I don't think hubby notices what I'm wearing. So I seriously doubt that he's offended by anything I wear.

I, on the other hand, notice what he wears. If there's something I find, well, less than flattering, it gets "lost" in the laundry.

I have no fashion sense so if he gives me a funny look I'll rethink what I'm wearing. I often dress him or else he looks like a hobo.
