<p>Today is sorta my Friday! I won't be in work for the rest of the week, but it's becuase I'll be in jury duty for a couple days. So that's kinda fun, but not really fun...</p>

<p>Missy - hope you are continuing to hear good news. It breaks my heart every time I read about what is happening in Japan. It is a nightmare.</p>

<p>BoB - I am super jealous you get to do jury duty! I would love to get to that but, but no doubt never will have the chance.</p>

<p>I am just hoping for no bad news today for anyone I care about (that includes you all, so no more bad stuff, ok?). I am tired of evil people, hospitalizations, cancer, suicide, etc. So let's just have a nice, quiet boring day. Thankyouverymuch.

<p>Okay.. so my BRB wasn't quite accurate.</p>

<p>Fun: today's eye candy in the gym. NICE view with some Marines and army guys. </p>
<p> </p>
<p>Fun: (last night) went with some clients to dinner last night - at Freddie's Beach Bar & restaurant. It's the only gay bar in the northern Virginia. (they welcome gay and straight alike). I had a blast!, and there was still some nice eye candy there, too!! Karioke (sp?) was even pretty good, from the little bit I saw before we left. </p>

<p>We're past the first 24 hours, which is good news, and the doctor did rounds this morning while my older brother was there (he's a pharmacist) so that was great, because he understood everything. Yay! </p>
<p> </p>
<p>The doctor said everything looked like he expected it to look this morning, nothing that he didn't expect for this kind of situation, which I think is good news. Dad's very alert like he was yesterday, but we're having the damndest time getting him to REST. So, with your continued good vibes please send him some "Stop telling stories with your hands waving around, and try to snooze" vibes. </p>

<p>(((((Missy))))) I didn't see what your situation is, but you need some hugs too, apparently. Hoping your day goes well, is uneventful, and you take care of YOU. </p>

<p>fun: we are having a COOKIE PARTY tomorrow in clinic. i'm bringing mini reese's pieces PB cookies. YYYUUUUMMMM.</p>

I'm glad you brought this up b/c it reminded me of a <strong>wildlife report</strong> from my trail run on Saturday. Normally my reports would be about giant, gross rats along a path but out in the wilds of New Jersey there are wild turkeys (as <strong>boB</strong> has previously reported). A big flock of them crossed right in front of me on Saturday; they were gorgeous - very colorful and huge but pretty. I gave them plenty of room but was shocked at seeing them in this particular location, as they would have had to fly (do wild turkeys fly?) at some point as the Palisades Parkway (highway) borders the trails on the West and the Hudson on the east (perhaps they swim?) Of course anytime I think of a wildlife report, I can't help but think of the big guy. </p>
