I haven't run a race since 2005. I kinda miss it. I'm not really in shape for anything more than a 5 k and I'd probably blow chunks doing that at race pace.<br><br>
I've always wanted to do the Turkey trott. I wonder if MrsT is working that day?

You gotta start somewhere when rebuilding. 5k's are great for regaining confidence even if you find you aren't running quite as fast as you were.<br><br>
I used to run like a rabbit and now more like a turtle. But it still gets me to the finish and makes me feel like I've accomplished something.<br><br>

dude, do it. It's fun. I go to races all the time when I'm not in shape for the atmosphere. Maybe it will up your motivation to do more in training
