After taking 3 days off in a row; I finally ran again today. 10 moh @ 7:42 pace. Heat index already at 97 when I finished. Just the way we like it. Yesterday was the hottest day of the year in CC at 98 degrees. I think that was a record for this time of year; usually it's end of June and into July before we get that high of temps. Going to be a long summer.

Liam - did you have to go home before the big arrival?

I am headed for an eliptical workout but wish I was running in this fantastic weather we are having. Another sunny day in the 70s. Just got done with 3 hours of yard work and cleanup.

I'm taking a vacation day, so I got my run in early. 8 miles with the middle 5 right about 10 mpm. Probably the best I've done so far.

MTA: Forgot to mention. Mother Nature's gift today was a bald eagle gliding around in the sky not too far overhead while I was running by some open pastureland.

Hi Ks, rip, eagle sighting HappyFeat & TW conduit.

5.9 miles for me quite early this AM, got up a 5:30 AM (that would be sleeping in for ks) so I could run before work.

No eagles here, but we have an Osprey pair nesting on the superstructure of the old bridge. If I think of it, i'll take a picture.

Happy news for me: After 2 weeks, the MIL is finally leaving tomorrow. .....she's OK, but 2 weeks is way too long. Fish and company stink after 3 days.
