Anybody know of any grant or scholarship programs for women, adults, teachers, etc.

I'm trying to go back to school and get my teaching license. Looks like it's gonna cost about $10k. I know there's stuff out there, I just don't know where.

I didn't look closely but a friend once referred me here:
http://www.teachforamerica.org/index.htm

Are you working now? Any chance they would pick up the tab?

Are you going to a public school? Colorado has this thing called the College Opportunity Fund and it picks up X number of dollars per credit hour of classes at public schools. Right now it's around $85/hour. I took a 3 hour course a year or so ago at the local community college and it cut the cost in half (not counting the friggin' books).

Have you decided on what college you're going to? Many private colleges have scholarship $$ for untraditional students or students pursuing a specific degree. Check out the financial aid before you apply to the school if you can. Good luck!
