I want to re-learn Spanish. (I was decent in high school, but have since forgotten).

I downloaded a bunch of podcasts of spanish lessons. I'm going to do this It's such a pretty language and I think it could only help me in life.

If you can afford it, buy "Rosetta Stone". It's a phenomenal program. I have the German I and II and I can't believe how effective it is for learning a foreign language. I'm getting the Spanish version also, because here in Houston, Spanish is a good thing to learn!

I had thought about that, but they have them for free on Itunes. I'll see how that goes first.

I downloaded about a dozen spanish podcasts as well as german. I didn't find them very helpful

you can get a free demo of Rosetta Stone (from their website).. You'll be able to try out all the languages and see what you think..

Hey Rich,

Can you explain to me a little about this program? A lot of people are always asking me about it (I'm a foreign language teacher) and I have no idea. I'd like to try it for something like Dutch or Japanese that I'd like to learn. How often do you use it and for how long? Is it only oral/aural or do you have a workbook to write in? Is it strictly conversational stuff or grammar as well?

Thanks!

Good luck, Jenna! PM me if you have a question about Spanish!
