My husband can quote Simpsons and Family Guy like nobody's business. It's insane.

I have a different set of useless info crammed into my head, stuff like lines from Friends, etc. We're a real treat to be around.

I so want to be a BAT, but my grey matter won't hold the information. Can I train to become one?

I really really really hate being left out when everyone else is sharing one-liners and laughing until beer comes out their noses. Me - I'm only good for a pseudo-good synopsis.

edited to add: Oh. I thought this had something to do with The Simpsons. Or something. Oy.

I think this started as a specific Seinfeld reference, but I feel it encompasses a lot.

HH is the king of this stuff. I often have no idea what he's talking about until someone else explains it!! I lived in a cave, apparently, for a long time.

But throw me a Princess Bride quote and I get it!

If you ask me to quote from a specific movie, with very few exceptions, I can't do it...

But often, a conversation will remind me of something I heard in a movie or TV show once... even if I don't know which movie or TV show it came from.

Yeah, DH will do that, and I ask him what it's from and it's almost ALWAYS the Simpsons.
