Rich - or Sierra,

I appreciate this is all a rush job, but it may be the right time to have the Running Clubs split up into sub-fora rather than a plethora of threads - The 30's are already at home, but the Masters (CR Boomers) are already showing signs of stress at sharing with the incumbents, i.e 30's - Maybe splitting the Running Clubs into 30's, Masters etc., would appease all, and allow for a natural progression for the Booming arrivals -

What thoughts anyone? (as for the Boomers, there is a ready made mod in Hally!)

Don't they all just do one mega thread per day?

We've been discussing this already. What I can do is set up 'sub fora' within the running clubs forum. One for each group...

Initially, I'd ask for only one moderator for the entire forum (Duckgeek). If it became necessary to ad multiple moderators, we'd consider it at that time.

Duckgeek - are you available to keep an eye on the sub fora? Once I create them, we'd have to 'shuffle' posts to get them in the right area.

What do the rest of you think?

thanks guys

i think that is a good idea, better than additional fora. Otherwise, you start a whole can of worms. What about 20-somethings? what about teens? etc. I would start with sub-fora and go from there.

Sub - fora sounds good for me

Rich, I dont know when/if you plan to do this, but I am free for a couple of hours, now, and can do the thread shuffling if you decide to do this soon. I have to get back on the road by 10:30 or 11 this morning though.

Just two forums.

In CR sense, Boomers = Masters.

In racing sense, Masters = 40 and over.

Generally, its an over-40 forum.

I think they want to be called Boomers, but the Masters label works.

I think Ilene is a regular there. Perhaps ask her?
