Sounds to me like the Venezuela trip is pretty important to you, so-<br><br>
A) Wait until after Vz to do the knee- traipsing about the jungle with a bum knee in a brace would be the pits.<br><br>
B) Take it easy in the 10mi race, or even consider canceling the race if you are competitive and will push it; both for Vz and to keep the knee from getting worse.
