As I was lacing up my running shoes this morning, I accidentally pressed against my shin. I had a sharp pain from the inner part, where the shin pain was.
It does not hurt to walk around or run.
However, this does concern me that the "shin splints" I was dealing with a couple weeks back were not shin splints, but a stress fracture (in both legs, worse in the left.)
So far, I think my plan is to continue my easing back into the swing of things. If the pain returns without me pressing on it, then I become a cyclist for a few weeks. (On my hybrid. Oh, one day I shall have a road bike!)

I hope that's not the case... I'm hoping it's just some residual soreness. Especially since, if it is stress fractures, it's my own fault for spending almost two months running without my insoles. (I finally got them in. Yes, I am that lazy sometimes. Run ten miles, sure... trim some insoles-- yeah, later.)
What do y'all think? In the past, I have overdone it-- but I like to think I have learned from the 4 months I spent running with a stress fracture and mild pneumonia until I was finally hospitalized back in high school. (I think I was perhaps the most moronic kid ever to be let into the gifted program. Needless to say, I think I might have had issues back then!)

Any opinions welcome, even if it's something I don't want to hear. (only if I really need to hear it though. )

EDIT: Went for another run. Feels tight, but not bad pain--- might just be from being hyper-aware of it.
