I can't think of the New York Jets.......

I saw the New York Titans play in the Polo Grounds. I think there were about 10,000 in the beat up old place.

I won $250 on Super Bowl III (actually I don't think it was called Super Bowl yet) when the Jets beat the Colts who were favoured by a whole lot.

People were giving me between 22 and 30 points as they expected the Colts to win by 50. I liked Joe Namath and thought he could keep it close.

Did he ever!

Who remembers Ronnie Lott was a Jet?

I bet they lost. Football players are just too big and heavy for those horses to carry around.

Nooo, they won. They were playing the Buffalo Bills and they beat the Buffalos into submission with their polo sticks. It was sad.

I just googled New York attendance avg, It was 16,000 in 1960....fell to 5,000 in 1963 when the league took them over. That changed pretty quickly when they moved to Shea in 1964 and became the Jets.
