We are diet twins. I just bought some protein powder and frozen mixed berries for smoothies tomorrow.

No Magic Bullet for me, so I'll be scrubbing the blender!
The magic bullet rocks. I use it to mix my post long run Isopure Protien shakes. Just powder and skim milk and they rock!!

Also, if you like your salsa smooth like they serve it at the restaraunts, then pick any thick and chunky salsa from a jar (select based solely on flavor) put it in the bullet and you'll end up with smooth rest style salsa.

Enjoy.
I've looked at those several times. Don't they make smaller smoothies? Instead of the whole big blender?

It sounds like a dirty toy.
it does sound dirty

It makes single serving smoothies. Last night i put a frozen banana and some chocolate soy milk in it and it blended up really fast! There are 4 large mugs that came with it, a small and large blending container as well. you can blend right in to the mugs, pretty neat.
My coach's family just got one and it seems like it doesn't get out chunks as good in smoothies. Like you know, when all the chunks go to the bottom and get blended up, they just stay kinda stuck in theirs and it takes a while to blend 'em.

I hope yours doens't do that and I also wanted to order one of those after I saw that infomercial. So cool...
I take it off and shake it up and add some water and it seems fine. I think it blended better than my blender. I overstuff the thing and that is my main problem, which is my fault, not a product fault. You can buy it at Bed Bath and Beyond and use a 20% coupon
My DW got one in the mail today, gonna find out soon how well they work.
AWESOME!!!! FULL REPORT!!!
Plus gotta smoothie test it and tell us what you made....

[drool]yay....smoothies[/wipe up drool]
Yeah, I'm still on the fence on this one. I love the info-mercial and it looks great..... Still not sure yet
I really like! It is so easy, easy to clean, and it came with all these cups so i can make a smoothie, then DH can make one right after me. I got some super box package at bed bath and beyond and used my coupon.
Is it dishwasher safe?

If it's not, I shouldn't bother. I'm such a lazy lump.
we put the cups in the dishwasher, but no heat dry, DH thought it may warp them. They came out clean.
ok, so she got the magic bullet. It comes in a gianormous box and now there are magic bullet parts all over our kitchen. It is all dishwasher safe, except of course the plug in base. I have'nt messed with it yet though. she has a made a smoothy and grated cheese for our pasta, which was nice becuase instead of long strands from our hand grater, we got a fine powder that melted instantly on the pasta.
The cups are definitely dishwasher safe. i've put mine in (with heat/dry) and things are fine. I wouldn't put in the actual blade part though... but usually just a quick rinse with tap water and it's fine.

The one thing they really don'' mention in the commercials is that (i guess due to the motor size?) you're not supossed to 'blend' for more than 30 seconds at a time. It's the only realy negative thing that I've read on user review reports - that the motor didn't hold out, but it was also due to overuse, from what I recall.

Most smoothies, salsa, etc are easily done by then. If not, just let the motor cool down for 30 seconds to a minute, and do it again. A little common sense will go a long way with this product.
whoohooo Augie!!! full report needed when you use it. I usually rinse the blade part off as soon as i am done with it. My instruction book said to never run the motor for more than one minute.
"It's as easy as 11111111111111111111111111111111, 22222222222222222222222222222222222222222, 333333333333333333333333333333333!

And it's done in 3 seconds flat!"
They seem like they'd be cool, but I'm in the minority in that I cannot stand that informercial!
