Over the last several weeks, I've been really taking some time to go refocus what we have here at kickrunners.com. I admit, for most of my browsing time - I spent my time here in the PRT. But while we were going about our day to day lives here, our site has become a treasure trove of knowledge about our sport - running, and all things associated.

From the topics in the other forums (Anyone read the thread about riding bikes on a hilly course? - see the front page) or Running in the Rain - I found this nugget in our wiki area to Preparing for and running the Boston Marathon (again, in the wiki area).

I am amazed at our resources and the contributions made here over the last 6 years or so since we've been 'Kickrunners.com'. I know traffic isn't at it's hey day - but the quality and quantity of knowledge here for anyone interested in running, multisport, or exercise in general is pretty darned good.

Over the next couple of months, we'll be working on bringing in even more resources - and features (and contests) - all focused on the foundation and real goal of this site - to promote and encourage running of all sorts and paths.

I just wanted to take a moment to point that out. If you are looking for running information, don't forget to check right here. Just use the search function. Or, keep an eye on the front page. As I find those articles, threads, and posts - I'll be highlighting them there.

For all of you who have contributed your knowledge to this site for this sport - thanks!

Best,

It seems thAt there was a time that you couldn't keep me out of any thread concerning running. glad to hear that you've got your passion back! I'm on a confirmed "down" year.....but secretly, I have registered for a fall marathon. Don't believe it until you get the race report though. it'll have been 3 years!!!!! and anything longer than 10 miles is a long run to me...sad, but true.

You're doing better than me. Anything more than 40 minutes and I have to call it quits, not out of lack of desire, but my extremities go numb. Not a good thing.
