Another bike ride for me this morning, 42 minutes. I can't believe I got DOMS this bad from that trail race. Well, I guess I can believe it since I'm not use to running trails, especially technical trails.

Good day everyone!

I rarely get muscle soreness from running, I don't know why. I get it from weight lifting so I know they do get sore. Maybe I'm not running hard enough. Anyway, after the Tecumseh Trail Marathon I had such bad muscle soreness! omigod, the worst I have ever ever had from running, from anything for that matter. Holy crap it was bad. My sister and I were both hobbling for days. I had some soreness after Afton too but not as bad. Trails will definitely do it to you!

When I run at night, I have a hard time falling asleep, so it messes up the next day. Have 5.5 on the schedule for today, will try and do that tonight, even though I have a meeting after work.

Virtual running partner! I ran 4 last night too - at 9:30 p.m. CST If I didn't do it then it wasn't going to get done at all so I sucked it up and ran because my goal is to run every run on my schedule this week! It was kinda neat running at that time, the lightening bugs were out. I had a heavy dinner and was hoping that it would have digested well enough by then to not cause a problem. I didn't feel barfy but my stomach still felt full and heavy. ugh.

Tonight is this free 20 minute run at the Running Room. You get a free hat. So I registered and I'm going. I have 8 to run today so the plan is to run the slightly more than 3 miles to the RR and then 20 minutes should be about 2 miles for me, and then the slightly more than 3 miles home. Should be fun! But hot. This morning it was only 61 degrees out there!

Happy Hump Day!
