Yep it is the middle of the week already! :)

A short humid run for me since I am tapering for a 3 race series this weekend. I ended up doing 3.44 at an average pace of 8:56. There were no wierd garmin readings today. I figured yesterday was just a fluke. I did almost step on an armadillo and I saw a herd of deer running through some yards in front of me.

Have a good weekend!

Jill - Nice 5 mile run this morning.

Loopy - Another 8 miler, sweet! Don't know how I would do without a watch.

BBS - YOu gotta love sprints, enjoy your recovery run.

Me - Brick workout, 21 miles on the bike at a conversational pace and then a 9.5 mile run at a 7:34 pace. My legs felt every bit of that run, especially as the sun peaked up and beating down on me.

Happy training everyone!

I'm done working at a factory!!! Hooray, they tried to call me back in this morning to cover, but I gladly opted out since I'm headed home in a few hours. Looking forward to be able to start doing doubles more regularly and having a life. 37min easy run for me this morning so far...off to get some stuff done on campus at the library, then weight lift, then pick up my checks :) and head home!

Have a great day everyone! Great to see you back loopy!

nice job on all the great workouts everyone. I did 5 miles in 43:19(8:39). Now I am ready to relax. I was going to do a core workout, but I feel like my run today did enough for my core. Have a great morning everyone.

Kevin - Nice going running and doing a core workout at the same time.

Alex - Congrats on being done with the job.

RA - Sleep is good. Have good workouts this afternoon.

Dave - Nice brick despite the sun's lack of cooperativeness.

BBS - Hope that sinus stuff clear up for ya.

Loopy - Glad you're enjoying your runs.

Jill - Can't wait to hear what the bloodwork says. Hope it has an answer.

FB - A three race series?

Despite an el crappo noche del sleepo had a good run. Decided not to take the one minute walk between 14 minute segments and it felt good. Seemed easier to keep running than to stop and start again. So, it seems I've gotten to 30 minutes running a few days quicker than I thought. All hinges on how I feel tomorrow of course.

Nice work out there, dog day runners...

It's track night for me as well. 500s are on tap for this evening, 6-8 of them at interval pace. It will probably still be in the 90s at 7pm when we are out there. But I'll be ready with my insulated water bottle.

Yet another flyby. Last full day of vacation. Race was this morning. Ended up with a RD's nightmare this morning. Full details when I post a full report, but involved having to go back with the van to rescue a stranded runner... We leave tomorrow morning for the 9hr drive home.

Correct,

3 races in under 24 hours. It is a mile beach run on Friday night, a 5K on the roads on Saturday morning and a 1 mile sprint around a couple of city blocks on Saturday afternoon.
